Just me

Who am I?

Hello. I'm Gabriel Asís, an interdisciplinary researcher and artist working at the intersection of philosophy, neuroscience, and the visual arts. Some people call me Scooby (yes, because of Buffy). Originally from Buenos Aires, now based in Barcelona. My work explores how aesthetic experience shapes thinking and creativity, with particular focus on dreams, visual perception, and art↔science relationalities[1]. While my philosophical school of thought leans toward bestial poptimism, my artistic style remains whimsigothic at heart.

I'm currently completing my Master's in Cognitive Systems and Interactive Media (UPF) and interning at Science For Change, supporting initiatives like PULSE-ART. I hold a degree in Philosophy (UBA), where my thesis examined affectivity in knowledge construction and the aesthetics of science through a Harawayan lens. For a comprehensive overview of my academic footprint, visit my ORCID profile.

Let's get in touch. You can message me at: scoobygangster@gmail.com
