Who am I?

Hello. I am Gabriel Asís, an artist and Philosophy graduate (UBA) from Argentina, now based in Barcelona. Welcome to my portfolio. Some people call me Scooby because I am a fan of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. While my philosophical school of thought is bestial poptimism, my artistic style remains whimsigothic at heart.

I love blending the academic with the artistic. My final thesis assesses affectivity in knowledge construction and the aesthetics of science through a Harawayan lens. Art↔science relationalities^[1] are a plentiful source of inspiration. I intend to further explore all these intersectional paths of oxymorons and would like to pursue doctoral studies on the relationship between dreams and creativity...
